What a Lush Night

Well, yesterday was just another day full of errands. My homegurl and I made a quick stop at our local mall to visit Lush and Target for a couple of beauty items.

(Outfit: Black skinny trousers from Gap. Black suede loafers from Topshop. Black simple t-shirt. Black long sleeve knit shirt from Kenneth Cole. Tiffany & Co. ring. Rose gold from Michael Kors. Black patent leather clutch from Forever 21.)
OMG, I can't help but notice that little piece of hair sticking out to the left. UGH. Anyways, first and foremost, Lush was our number one destination. After using their Mask of Magnaminty for numerous times and almost running out of it, I was in desperate need of a new one. I was also in the mood to try a new one so I ended up getting their Brazened Honey mask.
The sales associate and I exchanged a few words with one another and she recommended the Cosmetic Lad. Idk what the fuck it is (I have a bad memory of things. Eeeek), but I'll google later what it's purpose is for. lol. Anyways, I'm tired of applying concealer with my hand to diminish my dark circles so I immediately ran my ass over to Target to purchase the pictured e.l.f. brush. While I was there, I also purchased New York Color's Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer. I've never tried anything from that brand and it was soooooo cheap so I had no second thoughts about purchasing it. Plus, I'm a frugal bitch. The $3 price tag was perfection! Anyways, can't wait to use the primer and brush today! I've already used the mask and it's left my skin feeling so soft.
Anyways, I'll try to update this blog with as many fierce outfits as much as I can.
Laters!

The Oscar de la Renta Gown of the Season!

I was recently on Nitrolicious and I she reminded me about that stunning Oscar de le Renta collection from last February. Ugh, especially this gown below:

That gown is the hotness! Like, look at all the tulle! That's honestly the Oscar de la Renta gown of the year! I'm instantly referencing princesses and opulent upper class Nueva York fierceness. Now that is what I'm talking about when I want a mind blowing gown. Perfect for a wedding, no? Teehee.

Vogue Netherlands May 2012: Lara Stone by Josh Olins

Such a breathtaking cover for Vogue Netherlands' second issue.
Don't even get me started on how beautiful the jewelry looks photographed along with Lara's out of this world face. Truly fantastic styling. The softness is what is truly appealing here. To be honest, this should've been the debut cover for Vogue Netherlands instead of the lackluster cover they opted for. Oh well.

Breakbot - Penelope Pitstop

I'm currently having a Breakbot obsession.
While I'm the Breakbot topic, you have to hear his remix for Metronomy's "A Thing For Me". You know a song is totally rad when you get chills when initially listening to it.

p.s. The Metronomy concert is in two weeks!! AHHHHHH. I have absolutely no idea what exactly to wear. Uh oh.

Breakbot - Baby I'm Yours (feat Irfane)

OBSESSED with this song. Seriously, the French make the best music.
Let's sing along, y'all:
"Listen baby
Your wish is my command
Baby won't you understand
That your wish is my command
What can I do to make my baby understand"

A Little Oceanic Here, a Little Neon There

Here are my latest purchases! Aren't they cute?
(Oceanic sequined clutch from Zara. Neon bracelet and pink lucite sunglasses both from Gap)
I've been having dilemmas about how I regret not making purchases. For example, there'll be moments where I'll really love a certain item and then BAM, I regret not purchasing it like a couple of weeks later. By that time, most of the items I'm salivating for probably have sold out and that's where the bitching begins. Now, every time I immediately fall in love with something, I'm going to make sure to purchase. No more "will this fit with the rest of the items in my closet" crap. I shouldn't justify why I should purchase a certain item. If I love it, then I'll buy it.
Anyways, I can't wait to style the clutch and sunglasses together soon!

Altuzarra for J.Crew

Because of the CFDA/Vogue fashion fund, the winners/runners up collaborated with J.Crew to create capsule collections. Here are a couple pieces of Joseph Altuzarra for the label.

I'm gonna keep it real, y'all. This is so fucking lackluster. I mean, where's the "wow" factor? Like I mentioned on The Fashion Spot, "same J.Crew shit, designer label stamped on it". I mean where's the Altuzarra in this? Hmm?

Dear Azealia Banks, I Fucking Love You!

SICK performance at Coachella.

Like, mixing "Firestarter" after "212"? Blisssss.

Katy Perry at Coachella 2012

Hun-tee, WERQ. Katy's always servin' fierceness at Coachella. Remember the Vuitton top she wore last year to the festival? Sublime.

So cute. Chic.
That is all.

Look Who's at Coachella. FML.

So my ass goes on tumblr and I enter "Coachella" last Saturday in the search bar and look at what I found:

Raquel Zimmerman. Jacquelyn Jablonski. Hanne Gaby Odiele. Kasia Struss. Sheila Marquez. FML FML FML FML FML. DEAD. Wanna know what I told my best friend Kelvin? "This is the closest we'll ever be to all of them". So true yet SO sad. I'm tearin' up here, y'all.

UGH. I hate myself. Let me go in a corner and cry my heart out.

Best Dressed at Coachella 2012: Hanne Gaby Odiele

Hanne Gaby has to be one of the coolest fucking girls ever. Like combines a chic pair of Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2006 trousers with a suede, fringe jacket? No one but Hanne Gaby! Homegurl is pure inspiration. Let's let the photos speak for themselves!

UGH, she's seriously the best. She showed all those skanks at Coachella how it's really done. Homegurl is servin' Coachella fierceness.

HBO's "Girls"

I've been seeing the trailer all over my television screen the past couple of days, and I was actually quite intrigued. After debating whether to watch it or do some college homework, I finally caved into temptation and watched the very first episode available on youtube.
I, overall, definitely recommend this. I love that it's more "real" than say Sex & the City. As a college student, I can definitely relate to the issues the main character deals with. Plus, it has its funny moments here and there. How can you not love that!

What Would Tony Wear to Coachella? 2012 Edition

OMG. I'm a hating bitch. Yup, you read that right. Of who you might ask? Of all the bitches going to Coachella. I was THIS close to going, but tickets sold so fucking immediately. The duration of me waiting online to purchase the tickets is fucking laughable. Yes, it was really long. Anyways, I'm tired of dumb asses looking horrible there (Vanessa Hudgens, I'm looking at you), so why not do "What Would Tony Wear to Coachella? It's all about the two 2 Ds, guuuuuurl. Oh, and I'm choosing from the Spring/Summer 2012 collections (trust me, it was so hard to choose). Who's first up? Diesel Black Gold Spring/Summer 2012. Duh, no fucking brainer!

SO chic, right? I swear, I'd WERQ as if the rent was due today just for that damn metallic biker jacket. That jacket is the fucking hotness. Like, ughhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm going cray cray over it. Now, enough of me sounding fucking psychotic. Anyways, what's the other top D? DSQUARED2.

Dean and Dan's Spring/Summer 2012 collection was inspired by the Glastonbury Festival. Like, this collection is the ideal collection for Coachella. Am-I-right or am-I-fucking-right?
Yeah...
Now, let me dream of being there wearing that metallic jacket on Aymeline or that beaded vest on Ginta while being front row at Radiohead or Azealia Banks. A gurl can dream, no?
Teehee.

Pink Hair is the Hotness!

Here are a couple of photos of me with my pink hair.
Outfit: Military blazer from some thrift store. Chain and leather bag from Windsor. Misfits t-shirt from. Michael Kors rose gold watch.

Unfortunately, the pink hair has faded, so I'm currently sporting a very blonde hair color ala Anabela Belikova. Hunnay, you know I'll be workin' it. :P

Tony, Where the Fuck Have You Been?

Hello! Unfortunately, there's this thing called Tumblr and I've been posting there CONSTANTLY! eeeek. I really feel bad neglecting this blog. I would post practically EVERYTHING here. I've decided I'm really going to get back to blogging 24/7 here. It's where I really started my whole blogging experience. Anyways, let's get back to business. My younger friends had their pre-prom this past weekend and it was SO surreal!
(outfit: Burberry polo shit. Topshop loafers. Forever 21 Jeans. Sparkle & Fade cropped navy sweater. Michael Kors rose gold watch. Windsor leather chain bag)
I honestly feel like my prom was only a mere couple of months ago. Seeing them all glammed up was a bit bittersweet. I was great seeing them looks absolutely fabulous, but it was a bit nostalgic for me. I hate that you can't help but just get older. It's inevitable.

Oh well. That's life. Anyways, after celebrating and reuniting with old friends, my homegurls Katie, Nicole, Jessica, and I headed to a local restaurant and had a calorific fest. There's nothing like celebrating a lovely Saturday night with some of your dearest friends.

p.s. I'm so glad to be back. :)
