My Favorite Hunks at the Versace Spring/Summer 2013 Show

If you haven't heard now, well you should know that Versace was one of the hottest shows in Milan last week. No, not because of the sexy gladiator clothes. Hello, the men! You can always count on the house of Versace and mama Donatella for the hot man candy.
I mean, who needs porn when you have the Versace show full of beefcakes. Muscle galore! Anyways, let's have a little fun and round up my favorite hunks of the collection. I might forget some significant ones that made me week in the knees, y'all, but the ones I'm gonna list are the main ones. Let's begin the sausage fest!

1. Kacey Carrig
Those thighs, arms, eyes, face..

Not only was he one of the sexist guys there, but I absolutely adored his look! Gladiator chic!

2. David Martins
Okay, I'm getting like an Ed Westwick vibe from him. lol

3. Chad Buchanan
OMG those thighs.

And those are my top three. I would've included the model in look number four from the show, but I can't happen to find anything on him. Actually, I don't even know his name. Fucking The Fashion Spot makes it confusing finding out about models.
Oh well. Enough bitching and more appreciating the eye candy, no?

Dolce & Gabbana Mens Spring/Summer 2013 (Bye, Bye to the Creativity at Dolce & Gabbana)

Seriously, R.I.P. to the creativity at Dolce & Gabbana. I mean, another fucking Sicilian inspired collection? We get it, Sicily is a vital inspiration for the label, but can we move on?
Don't even get me started on the horrendous casting decision. Real people from Sicily? That alone should've never been pursued. The hideous music? How dreadful. The Sicilian inspired clothing? Utterly lackluster. Once again, I have lost hope for the house of DG. See, that's why they should've kept the D&G label alive. While they do their annoying Sicilian collections at the main label, they could've been more creative and pushed their creativity further with fun and fantastic collections at the younger label, but nooooooo, they just had to discontinue it. Oh boy, it's times like these where I miss D&G. Actually, it's times like these where I really treasure phenomenal collections like S/S 07 with Snejana strutting to "Sexy Back" and S/S 06 with the farmer/rural chic clothes and the models strutting to cool disco/house music. Sigh.
Oh, and if I have to type "Sicily" one more time, I'm like sooo slitting my wrists.

Ports 1961 Mens Spring/Summer 2013: The Orange Lucite Sunglasses!

It's not surprising that I have three womenswear looks as favorites of mine and only two menswear looks. Hey, have you seen have I dressed? Hello!
Anyways, I've never really paid attention to Ports 1961 (with the exception of womenswear and those totes gorge Alana Zimmer ads for the label for S/S 12) so this collection didn't really leave me going all crazy. It just wasn't me and it was a bit lackluster, to be quite honest. However, like I mentioned earlier, I did enjoy these looks below:

By far, my favorite look has to be the third look posted above on Yulia Kharlapanova. I did enjoy the sneakers and accessories. I especially loved these lucite orange sunglasses below.
The style/shape remind me so much of the current pink lucite Gap sunglasses that I have right now. I never thought I'd love a pair of orange sunglasses as much as I love those above. So chic.

Topman Design Spring/Summer 2013 Detail and Backstage Shots

First and foremost, so sorry for not updating. I've been so busy with work. Fortunately, I've been given a whole week off of work (UGH) and well here I am catching up with the menswear shows! Anyways, I loved the details at Topman, especially the the cool California-skater prints. Also, I'm just dying over the makeup and hair at the show. The boys looked so good! I loved the dewy finish they individually had. Oh, and the hair has inspired me to cut it in a very similar way. Let's get started:
I'm dying for the print here. Too rad.
Ton Heukels looked so handsome at the show. Loved the hair and makeup.

This jumpsuit needs to be mine. So chic!

I've been obsessed with pastels as of late, so it's no surprise that I'm salivating for this simple yet chic almost mint green sweater.

Have I mentioned on this blog how I've been wanting to learn how to ride a skateboard? Uhh, well yeah. This is adding to the desire to wanting to ride. Thanks, Topman.

I just adore the knits here! The clothes look so nice with the dewy makeup. OMG dewy makeup is the hotness.

The t-shirt print is really appealing and I'm loving the cool sunnies.

Ton Heukels getting his face on backstage. Such a stunning shot.

Ahh, Anthon Wellsjo backstage. Love him.
And that's that. What's next?

The Hot, Fierce Music Video for Azealia Banks' "Liquorice"

Thank god I finally have the time to blog about this music video. I have no words. This shit is too fucking fierce.
First and foremost, major kudos to Nicolas Formichetti for the fantastic styling job. The American flag printed bikini top with the matching hot pants while licking a lollipop? Fierce. The blue fur with a pair of hot sunnies? Fierce. The Jeremy Scott ensemble while being surrounded by flames? Too fierce. Azealia Banks has been my latest obsession and it's going a bit cray cray now with this video.
Now, "Hey, I'm a liquorice bitch, you know I'm lookin' for these n***as if these n***as is rich".

Topman Design Spring/Summer 2013: California Cool

Let the Mens runway S/S 13 season begin! First up, of one of my favorites thus far: Topman Design
I've never been a, well, fan of Topman Design and Topman in general since I'm constantly bombarding the Topshp website, but oh boy do I regret never really paying attention to the label and it's  high fashion collections. I found the collection had a very California cool-surfer meets skater inspiration, and that was pretty much evident by the skateboards the models, like Anthon Wellsjo, sported with the addition of the hawaiian shirts (I'm currently too keen on hawaiian shirts. Blame Altuzarra and Stella for doing awesome Hawaiian shirt based designs for S/S 12 and Resort 2012). Being a California native, who pretty much enjoys the sunny state and what it has to offer, I found myself pretty much salivating over it. It's so youthful, so you know the kids like moi will eat this up. The styling was perfection, in my opinion. I adored the color palette used and I'm having an anxiety attack at this moment about which products I want to end up adding to my underwhelming collection of clothes for next spring/summer. Plus, who doesn't love a good ol' California surfer-skater kid? I sure do. There's something so cool about them, and that was pretty much conveyed through this collection. Heck, I've been wanting to purchase a skateboard and learn how to ride it. There's something so fresh about the collection. Overall, the first official London Mens Fashion Week and the Men's S/S 2013 runway season are starting off really well. Anyways, enough of me rambling. Here are my favorite looks:

Those printed t-shirts are too cool and I can't help but think of the stunning sunsets California has to offer while looking at that colored cardigan/sweater combo look. Now, who the fuck do I have to befriend in order to get that jumpsuit and that full look on Anthon? Too fierce.

Topman S/S '13 for Look of the Day and London Fashion Week!

Oh boy, have I missed mens fashion week in general. Anyways, What Would I Wear Today? Topman Spring/Summer 2013!
I've been having an obsession with Hawaiian inspired shirts and I LOVE the whole California-skater look the collection had. I mean, a Cali boy loving a Cali-skater collection? Duh.
Oh, and it's finally London Mens Fashion Week! I'm soooooooooo excited! So far, so good.
p.s. Topman review coming up!

The Row Resort 2013

Without a doubt, such a very understated collection. It's not my favorite collection of the resort season thus far and not my favorite collection from the Olsens, but I really appreciate what they presented here. By far, the outerwear has me salivating the most. The fur parkas? Dreamy. The all black looks styled perfectly? Perfection once again. My favorite looks below:

Major kudos to the effortless layering in the third look posted above and kudos to the use of nice fabrics. I'd just love to feel them.
