From Rob to Rupert. Kristen Stewart, Are You Kidding Me?

So my ass wakes up abruptly at 11:20 am because I felt that I had accidently missed work, but thankfully I go in at 6:00 pm. I then get my iphone and go immediately to Dlisted and lo and behold look what I learned about:
Yup, the bitch cheated on her man with a married man. Mmmmmhmmmm. What's awkward is that Ruper Sanders, the man she cheated on Robert Pattinson with, was her director for Snow White and the Huntsman. Oh, but you wanna know what's extra awkward? His wife played Kristen's mother in the movie.
That's creepy, gurl.
Anyways, and they were caught too.

 Here's a better close-up of Rupert.

Oy vey. From Rob to Rupert.....this is absurd. Anyways, let this define how we all feel:

The Evolution of Louis Vuitton: Du Juan by Sharif Hamza for Vogue China August 2012

I'm loving this editorial titled "The Evolution of Louis Vuitton" showcasing some of the amazing designs that Marc Jacobs has done over the years at Vuitton. Im especially fond of the captivating shot of Du in the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012 dress below.
I also really loved the shot of Du in the Spring/Summer 2007 dress. It's seriously one of Marc's best collections for the label, to be quite honest.
Last but not least, I loved the shot featuring one of my favorite looks from the Spring/Summer 2005 collection, which was such an epic show.
There's 3 more shots that I didn't include, but these are by far my favorite ones. Now, let's raise a glass of whatever you're drinking and let's toast to the fabulous work Marc has done at Vuitton.

Meet the Aloha Sweater

Yes, I still have an obsession with hawaiian prints. Especially this one on this simple navy blue sweater from Urban Outfitters.
Plus, it's on sale, which to me it means "See it, Buy it, Enjoy it". Can't wait to receive this Deter Aloha Crew Sweatshirt next week in the mail!

The Mermaid Ball!

Guess who went to Azealia Banks' Mermaid Ball? We did!!!

Seriously, last Saturday was one of the best days I've had thus far during this horrendous summer. I got dropped off at my girl Katie's lovely place, got a little tipsy, and headed right away to the concert. The venue was a bit empty initially when I entered, but after a while it became quite evident that more and more people came towards the end to see the more popular acts perform (Rye Rye, Azealia, etc.) As you can see from the above photo, the venue was decorated in such a cute way. I mean, the whole Fantasea balloon feature was just the right touch. Oh, and did I mention the fierce mermaid go-go dancers? So rad. I also loved how people dressed up. Yes, there was an incentive, which was a $1000 prize to the most gutsiest mermaid outfit, but nonetheless the concert alone validated dressing in a more fantastic way. After seeing some of the gays and gals working the dance floor in a very 90s vogue format, Katie and I headed upstairs for a quick cigarette break.
Unfortunately, after talking to group of people for a while that I just randomly met with Katie (hey, blame that cheap 4Loko, okay!), I missed Rye Rye's performance with Robyn. I mean I like Rye Rye, but it's motherfucking Robyn!!! UGH, at one point, I heard Robyn's voice, and I was a bit skeptical telling Katie "is Robyn here? It cant' be, right?" but Katie just disregarded what I said. I mean, I doubt Robyn would be here to perform just one single with Rye Rye, right?
Anyways, I found out through Instagram after the concert. How dreadful. Let's hashtag this as #you'resuchadumbbitchtony.
I so would've gone crazy to seeing Robyn live.
Anyways, after talking to those lovely strangers from Orange County I mentioned earlier, we headed downstairs and waited for Azealia to come out.
 (Silver biker jacket from Zara)
Oh! This is what Katie wore. Cute, right?
After a while, Azealia finally made her appearance on stage. Gosh, the girl can indeed throw a performance. One funny thing I have to say though is that prior to getting to the concert, Katie was telling me that maybe we shouldn't dance with others (bitch did this last time at the Metronomy concert we attended) in order to not make the other one feel lonesome/annoyed. I was like "guuuurl, I did not feel like shit when that happened at Metronomy. Go ahead and do your thang". Sure, it was shitty seeing your friend get dick right then and there and I didn't wanna cock-block her, yah know. What's absolutely funny is that it was me that got dick there at Azealia. I'm not really into black guys, but this guy was quite cute. He just randomly started dancing right behind me and started getting closer towards me and we just basically danced the night away. Okay, we grinded, not danced. Happy with the clarification? Oy vey.
(Arm and finger swag: Kenneth Jay Lane seashell ring and a bunch of bracelets thrown together purchased from street vendors)
I had to show the accessories I paired my metallic Zara jacket and American Apparel t-shirt with. The Kenneth Jay Lane ring was the ideal ring for the occasion. It was absolutely perfect for the under the water theme. I also have to post a photo of Azealia's fabulous costume. Under the sea realness, y'all.

That's pretty much it. I'm now just hoping I can get one of my friends to attend FYF Festival with me. Well, I have to get a ticket first. Actually, I have to get the funds first.

The Kenneth Jay Lane has Arrived

My Kenneth Jay Lane ring from the Net-A-Porter sale has finally arrived! :D
Gorgeous, no? I'm SO wearing this to the Azealia Banks Mermaid Ball Concert I'm attending this upcoming Saturday.

Improving Skin and No Makeup

So for the past week and a half, I tried to prohibit makeup from being slathered all over my face. I don't know about you, but it's so relieving to not use makeup on a daily basis and it feels as if my acne is diminishing. Plus, my acne wouldn't have diminished if it weren't for the constant taking care of my face with my beauty/cleansing regime.
(I'm trying to be fierce, okay?!? LOL)
Oh, today was such a lovely day. I had such a blast celebrating my sister's birthday.

Lets Update with Instagram!

I've been obsessed with Instagram lately so it makes perfect sense to update the blog with the numerous of photos I took last week.

New Zara Jacket
Love this new metallic silver biker jacket I ordered from Zara. I so wanna do an all black look and style it with this gorgeous jacket.

Let's Go Out and Show Off the Tods
My friend Andreina invited me to one of her friend's party and so I felt it was absolutely obligatory for me to show off the new Tods. Ruby red never looked so good and I'm not even a red shoe kind of gal!

(Outfit: Gap black skinny jeans, Gap denim jacket, and Gap white muscle shirt)

Boba Time at Froosii!
I'm a huge fan of boba and felt like trying a new place instead of hitting the usual hot spot Bounce Northridge. I found out about Frootsii online and let's just say I'm a fan!
Their cupcakes were absolutely delectable. I'm definitely going to head there more often.

Mask Time
I forgot what Asian brand these masks are from, but I found out about them from Fashionista. I love how they leave my face feeling so nourished and fresh.

Catching Up with the Girls at Chipotle
I hadn't seen a couple of my friends for a while and so we headed to Chipotle for quick bite and gossip session.
(Outfit: The Drums band t-shirt, Gap black skinny jeans, Fake Hermes bracelet, and Windsor bag)

Paradise at Zara
I believe this was two Tuesdays ago and went to Zara. It was the first day of the annual Summer sale and had to get these gorgeous tropical printed skinny trousers

What to do? Lets Head to Andreina's House.
Kelvin and I were so bored last Saturday, so we decided to head to my friend Andreina's house just to mess with her.

(Outfit: Gap muscle shirt, Thrifted glitter cardian, Gap black skinny jeans, and Michael Kors rose gold watch).

And that's that!

Our Own Private Beach

Last week, a couple of the girls and I headed to the beach just to tan and have a little fun. Along the way there, my friend received a phone call from her little brother, who happened to be at some nearby Malibu mansion helping their father with the flooring of the place. My friend's dad deals with flooring, and so the house was basically empty. He told us to meet them there since the house was basically free. While my friend's dad was inside the fabulous mansion fixing it, we took the opportunity to somewhat sneak into the backyard, which was basically some secluded, private beach, and just chilled. Seriously, it felt as if the girls and I had our own private beach. I mean, when will you ever actually have your own private beach without noisy people surrounding you? Probably never. Anyways, I brought along the issue of Dazed and Confused with Grimes on the cover to read, tanned, and just relaxed.

My skin has been tremendously improving, so I just had to take a couple of pictures.

(Outfit: Gap green mens hoodie, Gap pastel green bermuda shorts, American Apparel oversized big pocket gray tank top, American Apparel sheer black tank top, Ray-Ban black wayfarers, and Urban Outfitters color blocked bag)

It was such a beautiful day.

The A.J. Morgan Glasses are Here!

The glasses I ordered from ASOS came in yesterday!
(Outfit: A.J. Morgan New School Glasses, Michael Kors rose gold watch, Forever 21 gray cardigan, and Misfits band t-shirt)
Oh, and if you haven't noticed, I also got a new haircut. Along with that, I used a product to remove some of the yellow in my hair, so it looks a bit more platinum blonde now. I'm content with my hair...for now.

Adventures in Thrifing: Meet the Tods!

Well, meet my new pair of Tods ruby red shoes! The things you find while just randomly checking out a thrift store.
About two weeks ago, I ended work at around 3:30 pm and had nothing do but just go home. I ended up heading to a thrift store that's like a block down the street from my job. After walking inside the shop for an endless amount of hours, I was ready to head home with a sequined pink cardigan and a cable knit pink sweater I end up finding. I swear, it was like pile galore that day. I decided to take another look around since everything was absurdly cheap and came across the above Tods on some metal rack. I checked the bottom of the shoes and it said "18". I instantly assumed they might be $81 and not $18, but to my surprise they were actually $18 when I took them to the cash register. I placed them in some plastic bag, tried to squeeze my feet in these size 10 womens shoes, and headed home. Seriously, this has to be the best thrift experience of my life thus far.

Girl, Take Advantage of that Net-A-Porter Sale!

Unfortunately, being a teenager has its major downs. Like, when you get a paycheck, you immediately spend it recklessly on insignificant shit instead of saving it like you promised yourself for, oh I don't know, maybe a pair of Pierre Hardy silver metallic sneakers that were on sale for $185 or for maybe for 2 hawaiian shirts from Stella McCartney and Altuzarra that you've been salivating over for weeks! Sorry, I'm getting a bit too personal with my bitching. I'm deeply sorry (Not really. Another down about being a teenager. Or is it an up?). Ugh, anyways, the other night on the last day of the Net-A-Porter sale, I visited the website in order to just have a little moment to myself and realize all the S/S 12 items I've wanted will never be mine. Fuck, I never even got anything remotely "sea inspired" since that was one of my favorite things about the season. But, I luckily scored! That same day at 3:00 am (the fuck is wrong with me), I ended up purchasing this Kenneth Jay Lane sea inspired/shell looking ring from the sale that's shown below. I had been wanting it for weeks and for it being so excessively low at a price point of $25, I couldn't say no.
I can't wait to wear it with maybe some studded outfit ala Versace S/S 12. Also, I've been wanting a new pair of glasses. I bought these AJ Morgan New School Clear Glasses from ASOS and hope to convert them into prescription glasses.

Last but not least, I purchased a pair of white espadrilles at ASOS as well (no picture). Hey, they were $13, so I couldn't pass them up. Plus, I've been really digging white shoes as of late. There's something cool about pairing white shoes with an all black outfit. I don't know, maybe it's the Karl Lagerfeld in me that feels that way. Is it sad that the only thing I'm looking forward to this week is to receive my items? Oh, lord.

The gorgeous Bette Franke at Atelier Versace Fall/Winter 2012

I'm not biased (maybe), but damn, Bette Franke looked so impeccable at the Atelier Versace show the other day. I mean, she always looks stunning, but she just looked too god at the show.
Gorgeous detail shot of her dress, which is probably one of my favorites from the collection.
More beauty shots! I know, we're all gonna feel like complete utter shit after looking at how impeccable Bette looked.
That dress fitted her absolutely perfectly and the hair and makeup just enhanced her beauty. I don't know about you, but I love glamour collections like these from Donatella. They just make every model look like glamorous goddesses.

Tony's Summer 2012 Playlist #1!

Well, it's been officially summer for some time now (I wanna say roughly two-three weeks?) and I got a little inner joyous feeling when being confronted on whether I have a summer playlist. Do I have one? Oh, you bet yah! Here's the first one! Just a couple of goodies and favorites of mine. I obviously had to start with Feel the Love because c'mon, it's fucking summer. Youth by Beach Fossils came next because summer is just one of those delightful times in the year where you just simply get to enjoy your youth and take full pleasure of it. Well, at least for me that's the case. In between, there's just a mix of some danceable and upbeat songs with some alternative tunes in there as well and a bit more. I ultimately ended it with The Only Place by Best Coast. Hello, California is amazing when it comes to the summer. I might hate living in the fucking Valley, but California is just absolute perfection when the summer season hits. I mean, beaches galore, anyone? This track by Best Coast pretty much sums up why I love Cali. Well, enough verbal diarrhea and on to the full playlist!

1. Cut Copy - Feel The Love

2.  Beach Fossils - Youth

3. Calvin Harris feat. Kelis - Bounce

4. Foster the People - I Would Do Anything For You

5. Air feat. Bech - The Vegabond

6. Azealia Banks - 212

7. Radiohead - Myxomatosis

8. Pnau - Direct Drive

9. The Vaccines - Wreckin' Bar (ra ra ra)

10. Neon Indian - Polish Girl

11. Whitey - Into the Limelight

12. Cut Copy - Saturdays

13. Erykah Badu - Window Seat

14. Friendly Fires - Skeleton Boy

15. MGMT - Siberian Breaks

16. Mark Ronson & The Business Intl - Bang Bang Bang

17. Best Coast - The Only Place

Now, excuse me while I put this on full blast in my car while I drive down PCH.
Hope you like it!

Song of the Haute Couture F/W 12.13 Season: Aphex Twin's "Windor Licker"

Yes, I know the haute couture F/W 12.13 season isn't over yet and I'm sure I'll being going crazy over some indie song played at Valentino later on today, but I just can't get over "Window Licker" by Aphex Twin played at Raf Simon's debut collection for Christian Dior Haute Couture.
So badass. I just love how it was soo...idk, a perfect contrast to the very 50s vintage Dior looking collection.
