Calvin Klein Collection Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear: Celebrating Summer

Milan Fashion Week is here and first up is Calvin Klein! My god, I'm salivating at how gorgeous this collection is. From the lovely shades of blues to those printed tops showcasing lovely images of the sky and sunsets to the cool biker vests showcased, this collection in essence was a celebration of summer and it couldn't be any better. I immediately responded to the color palette. I'm a huge fan of blue and I love that Italo included an array of lovely shades of blues. The printed tops were marvelous! Even though they slightly remind me of something Raf did recently, they're utterly perfect. The images easily celebrate the beauty of summer, imo. Beautiful blue skies and divine sunsets...that's honestly what summer is about. Now, summer is also about the body. Italo showcased looks with bare arms with buttery soft leather vests and tank tops styled with some fantastic eyewear. Italo's aesthetic, imo, is all about clean, subtle futuristic touches, fantastic sportswear with an emphasis on fabric research. This collection was no exception. The prints seemed quite new and they worked for him in the end. Watch, they're going to be some of the most covetable pieces next Spring/Summer. Count me in!

Azealia Banks and Disclosure Possible Collaboration?

I just died. Apparently there is a god because take a look at this:
Please baby Jesus, let this be some sick ass song with Azealia werqing it.

Disclosure - F For You (Music Video)

This, my friend, is good music. Disclosure, my new favorite dou, have released a music video for F For You from their debut album Settle.

I'm obsessed with the visuals. Just a chill, danceable song. Plus, Guy's voice is perfection with the the fantastic beat. The visuals compliment the song perfectly as well.

The Best Part of Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear? The Streaker!

Milan Fashion Week is here and here's a little somethin' somethin' for you to enjoy ;)

But lbr, that collection was horrible. Lackluster, repetitive, and uninspired. Like, the clothes just seemed so big on some of the models at some points and I could easily find an exact copy of certain pieces in past collections. Let's just hope that Dolce & Gabbana have some epiphany in prison (and some fun in there with some hot papi chulo) and come back in Spring/Summer 2016 with Naomi strutting her ass to some disco, electronic song wearing an orange, prison jumpsuit embellished with Swarovski crystals. She'd be serving prison-glamour realness. It's all I'm asking for, really.

This Fabulous Goddess

Queen Donatella graced us as usual looking like a fierce b**** after the mens Versace show yesterday.
Homegurl is idk how old and she still looks flawless. Queen, keep being fierce.

Margaret Howell Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear

You gotta love Margaret Howell for constantly sticking to their guns and offering their customer something that's familiar but still contemporary. They're collections continuously offer a fresh, clean, British, slightly uniformly while maintaining being chic. There's an effortlessness to it all and I love it.

Jonathan Saunders Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear

My god, Jonathan Saunders this season is perfection is at. Not only is he one of the only designers I constantly seek inspiration when it comes to color, but he's also brilliant when it comes to fabrication. Let's speak on the color palette first. The shades of blues (I'm a sucker for it) was too great to ignore. There was greens showcased as well, but to be honest I was more fond of the blue pieces. They're more me. The fabrication also conjured up a sick obsession with this collection as well. I love the techyness of those shorts (look #4) and the shirt (look #2) pictured above. They seem so lightweight but utterly cool. The prints are another eye-catching feature. The rose print on that gray bomber jacket? Perfection. Especially that icy blue combined with the gray jacket. Another fabulous collection from London.

E. Tautz Spring/Summer 2014 Menswear Favorite Looks

I adore the color palette, fabrics, and styling. Those satin espadrilles are too rad and I cannot love them when they come in those divine colors. A lot of collections just seemed quite drab and didn't have an effect on me whatsoever, so it's nice to have a collection with some fantastic color! Patrick Grant for E. Tautz managed to create a collection that was vivid, youthful, and pretty cool. The styling is stellar. I love the contrasts with the blacks and reds, blues, and lime green in so many of the looks. It's definitely one of my favorite collections from London.
