Vogue Japan November 2013 : Karlie Kloss by Patrick Demarchelier + Editorials

Kloss the boss looks impeccable on the cover of Vogue Japan's November issue decked out head to toe in a rock 'n' roll ensemble by Saint Laurent shot by Patrick Demarchelier.
I love the pose and I also adore how cool she looks in that Saint Laurent chubby coat. Not only is the cover to die for, but I'm having a love situation with the content. First up, Tao's punk meets street editorial shot by Hans Feurer, who's becoming a favorite photographer of mine.

I love how his aesthetic is all about that girl on the go on the streets and always looking impeccably chic and standing out. Hans' photographs always consist of taking street shots of women styled perfectly and I simply adore it!

Next up is Chiharu's stunning beauty editorial with a badass punk theme. Have I mentioned that Chirahu is fast becoming another one of my favorites? Ugh, I honestly want to be as badass as her with that short hair every time I see her strut the runways.

Another badass editorial featuring one of Karl's new muses Ashleigh Good with exceptional styling featuring some of my favorite pieces from Hedi Slimane's grunge themed collection for Saint Laurent.

It captures the spirit of the whole grunge attitude while still having Ashleigh look absolutely chic in those gorgeous outerwear and fur pieces. Let's not forget those Saint Laurent embellished boots have the sweet combination of being totally punk and edgy while still remaining incredibly luxurious. My favorite shot has to be where Ashleigh is sitting down in that room with the graffiti in the background, which totes compliments the look, wearing that impeccable Saint Laurent white fur coat with black dots  dots dispersed throughout. The somewhat dark mood it's evoking with the lighting just overall is captivating. Let's now give things a sweet spin with an editorial on the opposite side of the spectrum featuring Nadja Bender serving some princess realness in a gorge, high class setting.

There's an editorial with Barbara Palvin and Stella Maxwell but I'm just not feeling it. It's too cute, Teen Vogueish for my taste. Ugh, then there's one with Lindsey Wixson and it's whatever, but you it's so evident that the styling was done by Anna Dello Russo lol. Miss Dell Russo is giving you full looks, hunty. Anyway, superb issue. Gorge cover and content that's immediately catching my attention. Well done, Vogue Japan.
